Peter Johnson has lived in Shetland for over 40 years and has a keen interest in history, folklore and photography. An ex-journalist, Peter was also the Orkney and Shetland cataloguer for a School of Scottish studies oral history project spanning several decades and forming a valuable online archive. He has a working background in oil, fisheries and construction as well as the media.
